Dr. Vinson was born and raised in Cleveland, Georgia and graduated from White County High School. She grew up in this practice and was always in and out of operatories following her Dad, Dr. David Barrett, the founder of this practice which was established 40 years ago.

 

When she was considering career choices, she kept coming back to how much he seemed to enjoy his job and how he was able to be a very present Dad to her and her siblings. Knowing that she had a desire to help and serve others and the hope for a family of her own, dentistry became the profession that she was most drawn to among the medical professions she was considering.

 

She graduated from North Georgia College and State University with a degree in Biology and obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia in 2014. She has been a dentist for 10 years and has practiced in Cleveland since the beginning of her career. One of her favorite things about General Dentistry is being able to serve all age groups and do a wide variety of different procedures. Her favorite thing about practicing in Cleveland is being able to serve the community that raised her.

 

Dr. Vinson was able to practice alongside her father until he retired in 2016 and with Dr. Rick Wilbanks until he retired in 2019, and credits them and their mentorship with her practice philosophy.

 

Dr. Vinson is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society. Dr. Vinson enjoys life in Cleveland with her husband Heath and their two children. They attend Chattahoochee Baptist Church. She enjoys being outdoors with her family, cooking, reading and gardening.
